2008 Northern Premiers' Forum held in Yellowknife
Territorial premiers met in Yellowknife June 27–28 to discuss common issues under the theme “A Stronger North and a Better Canada.”
Nunavut Premier Paul Okalik, Yukon Premier Dennis Fentie and Northwest Territories Premier Floyd Roland discussed and worked collectively on pan-northern issues. The premiers dicussed relations wth the federal government, the economy, the environment and other issues affecting Northern people.
